Located in a lovely hamlet just over 4 miles from the fabulous harbour town of Aberaeron, a Georgian jewel with elegant colour washed houses surrounding the harbour - reputedly planned and designed by John Nash. There is a range of small, interesting shops, craft centres, pubs and restaurants.
Cardigan Bay has lots to see and do in and around the town. With two shingle beaches to enjoy, good launching for small boats from the harbour, boat trips to spot the marine life, sea angling, fishing for salmon/sea trout on the river Aeron or take a cycle ride along one of the 5 Wales Cycle Trails. Why not take a stroll along ’Lover’s Walk’ past four weirs and along the river valley to Llanachaeron, or try a coastal cliff top walk with stunning sea views and spectacular wildlife. The property is also just 5 miles from New Quay Beach, New Quay is a quaint seaside town, and you will find an array of little shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. Enjoy fish and chips along the harbour, whilst looking out for the frequently visiting bottlenose dolphins. There are crab fishing boats and fishing trips, and if you would like to see the marine life, take a dolphin survey trip.
Explore the 60 miles of Ceredigion coastline, on the coastal path, and there’s no shortage of beaches either. Visit the secluded National Trust cove of Cwmtydu, where seal pups can often be seen here during the autumn months. Close by is New Quay Honey Farm, with its tea rooms and shop selling honey and beeswax.

Coed Y Foel and Cilgwyn Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Harbour Beach and Dolau Beach. New Quay Honey Farm and Jane Beck Welsh Blankets are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
