Adjoining the owner’s 18th-century farmhouse, part of this cottage dates back to 1753 and, with its warm cosy atmosphere and wood burning stove, is perfect for couples seeking a romantic relaxing retreat. Decorated in a comfortable, country farmhouse style there is a living/dining room with wood-burning stove and fitted kitchen area with integrated appliances. French doors lead to the garden. The first floor has a double bedroom with television and en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful area, located only 4 miles from award-winning beaches and market towns. Walk along the Pembrokeshire/Cardigan coastal path past quaint seaside villages and smugglers’ coves. St David’s and Tenby to the south, and New Quay and Aberaeron to the north are just a little further afield.
Cuckoo Springs Cottage is situated on our smallholding and you can experience the ‘good life’, help with their rare breed animals, meet the pet pig Ollie and let Sam, one of the horses, take you for a pony and trap ride. Alternatively, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our secluded wooded valley, simply relax in the large garden or stroll through the our bluebell woods and enjoy stunning views across the valley.
Free range eggs and home produced meat are often available, and there is plenty of space for dogs to run free, with delightful walks straight from the door. Shop 1 mile, pub within 1 mile. Champagne, chocolates and a pampering spa session can all be arranged for that special occasion.
