River Aeron Retreat is a beautiful waterside apartment which was sympathetically refurbished in 2017. The apartment is in a period property and listed building which itself was sympathetically renovated to modern standards in the year 2000.
This is a two-person holiday-let sitting on the banks of the River Aeron in the heart of Aberaeron. Aberaeron is a picturesque and colourful Georgian harbour town with a plethora of highly regarded independent shops, café’s, restaurants and pubs, all right on the doorstep of River Aeron Retreat.
The apartment is a perfect base from which to explore the West Wales coast and countryside and is centrally located on the coast of Cardigan Bay, equidistant to the Market towns of Aberystwyth and Cardigan, and close to its neighbour New Quay, another popular tourist destination and 15 minutes’ drive from Aberaeron. New Quay is also famous for beaches, dolphin watching boat trips and water sports. There are a range of attractions, events and festivals along Cardigan Bay, including the National Trust Llanerchaeron, Cardigan Castle and the Vale of Rheidol train journey from Aberystwyth to Devils bridge which takes you through the beautiful Rheidol Valley, not forgetting the Wales coastal path which runs through Aberaeron itself.
Located in Aberaeron, this apartment is on the waterfront. Llanerchaeron and Mwnt Church are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include New Quay Honey Farm and Jane Beck Welsh Blankets. Cae Hir Gardens and Camera Obscura are also worth visiting.
