Perched in the coastal village of Llanon in Ceredigion, rests this delightful two-bedroom cottage, Glyn Cottage. Enjoying an idyllic location alongside the River Peris and just moment’s away from the local amenities and beach. Glyn Cottage is a wonderful dog-friendly base for couples or a family of four, plus their two canine companions. Park-up on the spacious driveway with space for three cars, before being greeted by a large, enclosed front garden with bench seating; an ideal spot for savouring your morning coffee as you listen to the babbling of the river. Step into a utility room, equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh. Look forward to conjuring up delicious feasts in the kitchen, with handy dishwasher, ready to enjoy at the dining table for six or alfresco out in the rear garden, where your four-legged friends can stretch their legs. After dinner, why not indulge in a well-deserved soak in the hot tub after a day of exploring? As the evening grows darker, retire to the sitting room, where you can sink back into the plush seating and select a much-loved film from the Smart TV, as your pooches snuggle up in front of the crackling woodburning stove. As your eyes grow heavy, retire to one of two well-appointed bedrooms to catch your rest, a king-size with zip/link and a twin. In the morning, cook-up a hearty breakfast before preparing for the day in style with a soak in the bath or a refreshing shower. Explore the local village, where you will find two welcoming pubs, The Central Hotel and The White Swan Inn, both serving a tasty menu and local ales, perfect for refueling after a day of adventure! Within the village you will find a good selection of shops for stocking up on essentials, a butcher, and a 13th-century church. Keen walkers and cyclists will delight at the close proximity of the scenic 870-mile Wales Coast Path, offering the very best sights and scenery, whilst those preferring a more leisurely walk can take the 6.5-mile circular walk from Llanon to Llanrhystud. Next stop is Aberaeron, where you will find a lovely, pebbled beach with breath-taking sea views, a picturesque harbour to watch the boats come in and an excellent selection of eateries, including The Stubborn Duckling and The Hive. Time your visit right to attend the annual Aberaron Carnival or the popular Aberaeron Festival of Welsh Ponies and Cobs, both of which take place in August. For golden sands, continue onto New Quay, where you can bathe with your favourite book, paddle the shores, or tuck-in to fresh fish and chips with the sand between your toes. Be sure to visit the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre which overlooks the beach and harbour and offers fascinating tips on how to spot the local wildlife of dolphins and porpoises which frequent the shores. Adventure awaits with a stay at Glyn Cottage.
