The Granary is a charming dog-friendly cottage located in Aberaeron, Dyfed, Wales, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Nestled on a rural smallholding at the end of a lane, the property is surrounded by farmland, offering a serene environment. The cottage features a private enclosed garden and is part of a seven-acre smallholding that includes a pond, orchard, woodland, and fields, along with a babbling brook that runs through the property. A bridleway adjacent to the smallholding provides convenient access for walking and horse riding enthusiasts.

Accommodating up to four guests, The Granary comprises two double bedrooms, making it ideal for families or couples. The upstairs layout includes Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2, both equipped with double beds, and a bathroom featuring a bath, toilet, hand basin, and towel rail. The downstairs living area is designed for comfort and leisure, featuring a 3-seater and a 2-seater sofa, a 32” Freeview TV, a dining table for four, and picturesque views of the orchard and outdoor games area. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, and fridge.

Outside, guests can enjoy an enclosed lawned garden complete with a table, benches, an outside sofa, and a BBQ area for alfresco dining. For recreational activities, there is a grass games area with a football goal and badminton net, as well as access to the small lake and orchard. The smallholding is also home to various animals, including ducks, ponies, quails, and cats, enhancing the rural experience. Guests are advised to supervise children and keep dogs on a lead when outside the enclosed garden.

Key amenities at The Granary include bed linen, hand towels, and tea towels provided for guests, with the request to bring personal towels. A travel cot is available upon request, although guests must provide their own cot bedding. The first basket of kindling and logs for the fireplace is complimentary, with additional supplies available for purchase on-site. The cottage also offers free WiFi and welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs at no extra cost, with the possibility of accommodating additional dogs for a fee. Smoking is not permitted on the premises, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for all guests.
