Country house in the Towy Valley set on 55 acres of private land to explore. Ideal for country walks, birdwatching, stargazing, fresh air and peace and quiet.
Private fishing on site (1 April-17 October), £15 per person per day (bring waders). Fast Wifi. Free parking for up to 4 cars. Bedding and towels are supplied.
12 steps lead up to a terrace and the front door.
Through the front door you will enter the house, with its spacious rooms and old timey feel.
Hungry? Why not visit the kitchen, where you will find a 4 door AGA, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and everything you will need to cook the meal of your dreams.
Maybe now you should take a brisk stroll along the river to burn off all those calories. Keep your eyes peeled for red kites, herons, kingfishers and otters.
Once you have returned from your walk (and left your muddy boots in the porch) it's time to relax. Enter the drawing room and flop yourself down on the comfy 4 seat sofa with a glass of your favourite tipple. Crack open a book, play a game with your fellow guests or just veg out in front the 55'' tv.
*YAWN* Is it that time already? But before you turn in for the night be sure to pay a visit to the bathroom where you find a walk in shower, sink and lavatory.
Not sure which bedroom to choose? Bedroom 1 has two single beds which can be pushed together to form a super king size bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. And both bedrooms have their own sink, in case someone is taking too long in the bathroom.
Host lives in one half of the house, the other half is just for guests and separated by a locked door.
Located in Llandovery, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Brecon Beacons National Park and Craig-y-Nos Country Park, while The Cambrian Woollen Mill and National Showcaves Centre for Wales are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Aberglasney Gardens and National Botanic Garden of Wales. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
