Despite the name, ‘New Cottage’ is a traditional cottage, a three-bedroom holiday home, ideal for a break in Burry Port. Close to Pembrey Country Park, Burry Port beach and the harbour. The accommodation comprises a cosy living room, dining room and kitchen to the ground floor, with three bedrooms and a bathroom to the first floor. Outside is a generous garden and off-road parking. The cottage can sleep up to six guests and is also pet friendly. The location is great for a family holiday with plenty to see and do locally as well as miles of beautiful walks to explore with your furry friends. The town also has plenty of café’s, pubs and restaurants within easy reach, if you’re a golfer there’s a golf club nearby with stunning sea views from the course.
Burry Port is a harbour town in Carmarthenshire, South Wales with views across to the Gower Peninsula and Carmarthen Bay. Popular sights locally include; Pembrey Country Park which offers many outdoor activities – perfect for a family day out. Burry Port Beach is a sandy, dog-friendly beach stretching miles, and the Millennium Coastal Path offers walkers miles more to explore. Ffos Las Racecourse is another spot for a day out with regular events available year-round. Some larger towns nearby include Llanelli and Kidwelly. Llanelli has some great shopping options, cinema and activities for rainy days. Kidwelly is an historic town with a castle and museums, so why not indulge in some Welsh history. Further field, the rest of South Wales is easily accessible either by road or rail. Why not head West for a day out in Tenby or head up the valleys to the mountains of the Brecon Beacons for some more stunning scenery?
