Llangynderyn 1.5 miles. Nestled in the Gwendraeth Fach Valley, between the villages of Llangynderyn and Llanddarog, this superb, semi-detached stone barn conversion is situated on the owners’ working sheep farm, in wonderful countryside, seven miles from Carmarthen in South Wales. This delightful Llangyndeyrn cottage has been beautifully presented by the owners, offering an ideal base for a couple or small family, with something for everyone to enjoy in this lovely area. Character features and modern furnishings work well together in this charming Llangyndeyrn cottage, and the owners have paid their respects to the famous Sir William Vaughan who lived here for a while before founding the area known as Cambriol (Little Wales) in Newfoundland, hence why they named the cottage Cambriol. The open plan living area at your holiday home near Carmarthen is delightfully large and boasts wonderful windows to the floor from where scenic views can be admired. Time together is so important and can be happily enjoyed while meals are prepared, cooked and eaten, along with time playing board games or watching TV in this superb living space. The oak stairs lead up to two charming bedrooms with oak-style floors and exquisite furnishings, with both offering bathroom facilities, so enjoy a relaxing soak in the bath, whilst looking out onto the excellent views. Also, the master bedroom is unique with its own small stairway leading to the bed. The property also benefits from a purpose built Hot Tub house where you can relax and enjoy the fantastic views across the valley no matter what the weather. Being fully enclosed with its own shower you can enjoy the Hot Tub during the coldest days in winter or can be opened up to enjoy the sun on the warmer days. Bath robes and towels provided. Depending on the time of year you stay, you will enjoy seeing sheep in the fields and maybe see a few lambs being born too, plus you may wish to wander around the farm and into woodland, or try a spot of river fishing. Within reach is the coast, lovely towns, theme parks and much more. A quality South Wales cottage with so much to see and do in the area.
