St Dogmaels is a quaint village at the border of Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire. Close to the property are the ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey, one of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful historical attractions. Nowadays the coach house is a Heritage Centre and there is also a tea room where you can enjoy fresh, homemade produce. As well as the abbey, there is a working water mill and choice of riverside inns and restaurants, together with St Dogmaels award winning weekly local produce market. Cardigan castle, Cardigan town and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are all within walking distance. The well-kept garden offers a paved seating area, perfect for al fresco meals and for admiring the views towards the river Teifi estuary. Poppit Sands is just a couple of miles away and there are plenty of other beaches in the area such as Patch, Mwnt, Aberporth, Newport Sands and Tresaith.
