Recently restored, this spacious and cozy retreat is designed to accommodate up to six guests, making it an ideal getaway for families or groups. The cottage features traditional beamed ceilings, a lovely garden area for relaxation, and a comfortable lounge and dining space, providing a true home-from-home experience amidst the beautiful Welsh countryside.
The cottage's prime location offers easy access to some of the most stunning beaches along the Cardigan Bay coastline, including New Quay, Llangrannog, and the National Trust beach at Mwnt. These picturesque spots are perfect for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. Additionally, the vibrant Georgian town of Aberaeron, known for its independent shops and scenic harbor, is just a 15-minute drive away. To the north lies Aberystwyth, a lively university town featuring a Victorian promenade, a cliff railway, and a diverse selection of cafes and restaurants.
Rose Cottage comfortably sleeps six guests in three well-appointed bedrooms: one king size, one double, and one twin. The upstairs layout includes a king size bedroom with a TV, a twin bedroom, and a bathroom equipped with both a bath and a stand-alone shower. The downstairs features a double bedroom with countryside views, a spacious sitting and dining area with a faux log burner and a 42” Freeview TV, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, ensuring guests have everything they need for a relaxing stay.
Outside, guests can enjoy a large rear garden complete with a lawn and gated driveway, providing ample parking for up to two cars. The cottage also features a small pebbled front garden. Additional amenities include bed linen and towels, highchair and stair gate availability, oil central heating, and free WiFi. Rose Cottage is pet-friendly, allowing two small to medium well-behaved dogs, and maintains a strict no smoking policy, making it a welcoming environment for all guests.
