Set in a peaceful private location, this picturesque property shares a courtyard with a neighbouring barn conversion. Set out on foot to explore the dramatic Black Mountains or follow the 5 mile circuit south along the Beacons Way through woods to open mountains, via a world of ancient pillow mounds and homesteads. Visit Carreg Cennen Castle ( 4 miles ) or admire the Llyn y Fan a natural scenic lake surrounded by breath taking mountain peaks. Jump in the car and explore the Dan Yr Ogof show caves which can be found 30 minutes away from the door. For amenities, pop into the market town of Llandeilo (6 miles) to browse its selection of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Inside, this sympathetically converted barn boasts oak flooring, exposed stonework and soft neutral decor throughout. Prepare and enjoy delicious family meals in the traditional kitchen/diner, where you will find an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and oak dining table to seat eight. After meals, fire up the wood burner and settle in for a cosy evening of games, TV or films in the inviting sitting room. A double bedroom with spacious en suite wet room is located on the ground floor. An oak staircase leads up to the first floor bedrooms, which include two king size rooms with en suite bathrooms and showers over the baths, plus a delightful twin bedroom which is accessed via one of the other bedrooms. Both bedrooms have sloping ceilings. Outside, a sunny terrace leads to a large garden with furniture for relaxing with a glass or wine or BBQ in the sunshine. A hot tub boasts breath taking views over surrounding countryside, the perfect way to unwind after a long day on foot. The barn is set within 70 acres of farmland and can be booked with neighbouring property to sleep up to 12 guests
