Offering four well-presented bedrooms and off-road parking, along with plenty of technology to keep you entertained throughout your stay including an Amazon Alexa and aSky Glass TV, this property is ideal for a family holiday any time of year. Arriving at the dwelling, park your car and step into the sitting room, where you will find two plush sofas and an armchair you can look forward to relaxing on after an adventurous day, while the woodburning stove warms the space. Home to a kitchen, a dining area and another sitting area, the space offers everything you need to whip up a tasty meal for your family and dine together while you discuss the day's events. Take advantage of the boiling water tap and savour your morning coffee at the breakfast bar before the rest of the group rises. When sleep calls, head off to the bedrooms for some rest; two king-size bedrooms boast sleek en-suite shower rooms, one of which is conveniently located on the ground floor and ideal for those with limited mobility. Continuing with the first floor is another king-size and a final bunk which is perfect for younger members of your group. Travel cot available on request, (cot bed linen not provided). Completing the interior of the property is a handy drying room, a bathroom where you can soak with a good book in the bath, and an additional wet room with an electric shower located on the ground floor. If there is need for ‘quiet time’ tranquility or just private space for home working why not retreat into the front snug where you’ll find comfortable seating, a work desk, a wood burning stove and good Wi-Fi connectivity. Outside, an alfresco hot/cold shower to wash off after an early morning or evening swim, an artificial lawn and patio provide a wonderful place to spend your summer evenings; with furniture and a barbecue and firepit area with a charming lighthouse lantern, you will have to tear yourself away when the evening draws to a close. At rear of property a secure gate leads into a shady footpath taking you to the safe and Sandy beaches of Cym-Yr-Eglwys and Pwll Gwylod, both 15 mins walk away. If you don't fancy cooking one evening, head out to the ship Aground, The Freemasons Arms or the fish and chip shop a 5 minute walk away. Or perhaps sample some fresh seafood from The Old Sailors which is just a short drive away. For a lovely day of strolling, Dyffryn Fernant Garden is within easy reach and offers a tranquil day of wandering delightsome plants and shrubbery. For fantastic views, head out to Strumble Head Lighthouse and discover the open sea from a new and exciting perspective. Walk the length of the beach at Newport Sands or participate in bird watching from the bridge overlooking the Nevern estuary. If you are travelling with lovers of history, stop off at Fishguard Fort on your way and explore the 18th century ruins overlooking the picture-perfect coastline and picturesque Lowertown fishing harbour. Adventurous types may enjoy a day at Oakwood Theme Park which is just a scenic drive away, or Castell Henllys Iron Age village, whereas animal lovers have the choice of visiting Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo and the Welsh Wildlife Centre throughout your stay, each of which promise a fascinating trip. Whatever you like to get up to on your holiday, whether total relaxation or a variety of outdoor pursuits, make Dolwern your perfect base anytime of the year.
