For something different take a trip to Hornsea Mere which is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Take a visit to Hull for a day out, which was the City of Culture for 2017 and is home to The Deep Aquatic Centre. Be sure to take a day trip to York, an hours drive, with its famous Minster, Jorvic Viking Museum and medieval streets.
