A half-hour drive from Hornsea Freeport is Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve, which boasts one of the greatest mainland puffin populations in Britain. As a starting point for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors, and the East Riding's seaside resorts, Hornsea is convenient to Wassand Hall and its walled gardens.
