For those wishing to explore a little further afield, York, Whitby and the Yorkshire Moors are all less than an hours’ drive away.

The kitchen has a working Aga, but don’t worry an electric oven is also available for those not wishing to use this traditional farmhouse oven. An Aga cookbook is on hand with lots of delicious recipes to try. The dining room sits in the middle of the property and retains the sweeping staircase and a large picture window. The Hind House offers plenty of outside space too with a kennel for dogs, a bike store for keen cyclists, a large-enclosed garden for children to play in and a patio area perfectly placed to enjoy the evening sun and al fresco dining. With miles of public footpaths, cycle paths, the Wolds Way, easy access to the coast and so many places to visit and explore. This area of East Yorkshire is very popular with country pursuits enthusiasts in the summer and winter months, and the property has a lockable cabinet for your own gun.
