Intimate yet spacious, and with its large landscaped south facing garden, the house provides an extremely rare Lewes combination of luxury and nature, coupled with far reaching views.

Lewes Heights is a very special property that our guests love. Beautifully furnished, and adorned with fine works of art, the house is intimate yet spacious, and is located in one of the most sought after areas of Lewes. Thanks to its location on a cul-de-sac, it provides tranquility and privacy during your stay.

Lewes is one of the prettiest historic towns in England, with a river running through it and centuries of fascinating history. Full of antique emporiums, boutique shops , and bustling cafes, there is something of interest for everyone. From the house to the centre of Lewes is just a 15 minute stroll and you are just a 5 minute walk away from the stunning South Downs National Park. The exciting city of Brighton and the world famous Glyndebourne Opera House are both approximately 15 minutes by car and many of our guests enjoy the nearby sea swimming site of Tide Mills, a 20 minute drive.

With over 2000 square feet of space, and two reception rooms downstairs, the house has a lovely generous feel to it, and there are large flat screen TV's in two different rooms, both with complimentary Netflix and Amazon Prime video. 250mb internet allows those needing to work, a reliable high speed connection.

Because the house sits on a corner plot, and has a southern aspect, the house and garden enjoy all day sun late into the evening. The mature trees, hedging and planting ensures a pleasing connection to nature during your holiday with us.

There is off-street parking for one car, and easy free parking on the street outside for further parking (no permit required).

Gatwick Airport is 30 minutes by car or train. And London one hour by train.

Two smart TV's with 250mb broadband, satellite TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video included, is on hand for your entertainment. There is a hi-fi in the sitting room with which you can plug your ipod or smartphone into for music.

The wifi reaches anywhere in the house so and there is a desk downstairs in the sitting room for any work that might need to be done.

The historic town of Lewes is situated in the South Downs National Park. Not only is it an area of exceptional beauty and culture, but Lewes itself is full of cafes, restaurants, antique shops and is the starting point for amazing walks along the South Downs Way.

Gatwick airport is the closest airport (about 35 mins away by car)

Glyndebourne Opera House is 3 miles a way, and the direct train to London takes about an hour from Lewes station.

Brighton is a 20 minute drive away, or 15 minutes on the train.

Walking is best.

No parties (Stag, hen or others) and no loud noise after 11pm. No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the house.
