Rising like fairy-tale turrets throughout Kent and Sussex, the British oast is a well-loved feature of the countryside that happens to make a great home too. We can sleep from 2 to 10 people. We can accommodate up to 8 adults and 2 older children.
There is a large living area, modern stone bathroom and full kitchen facilities. The floors are oak boarded or stone and both the bedroom and living rooms of the annexe have large glass double doors which open onto the garden. The historic market town of Battle is a 7 minute drive away. The property is in a quiet location with beautiful views over the countryside and includes a lawn area, ideal for barbecues.
We have many family parties and celebrations at the holiday let, but property is not suitable for loud parties with loud music. If you think your party will be loud, this is not the property for you. The Hot tub available with a fee of £100 per stay (cleaning/chemicals/maintenance) payable on your arrival.
Located in Battle, this farm stay is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at High Weald and Old Roar Gill, while Observatory Science Centre and Hailsham Pavilion are cultural highlights. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Priory Lane or Arlington Stadium.
