The peaceful town of Bexhill-on-Sea is also worth a trip, at 3.5 miles away, here you can relax on a shingle beach or admire the coastal views from Seven Sisters National Park and Glyndebourne. History buffs will be thrilled with a trip to the town of Hastings, where the battle of Hastings took place in 1066 and where you can dine out with a great selection of eateries to choose from.
