Looking for an extra-special holiday home on the South coast? Fairways is a beautiful, detached, four-bedroom house with private swimming pool and glorious views over a golf course to the South Downs beyond.
Set in the popular residential Old Town area of Eastbourne, this Exclusively Eastbourne house offers easy access to walks to Beachy Head, the Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Valley. The Old Town area has a Waitrose, various shops and facilities, plus restaurants - including the 12th century Lamb Inn.
Eastbourne train station and town centre is just 1.5 miles away, and the beach is also within easy reach.
The house has an interesting 'upside-down' design, being set on a slope. The entry level has the living areas, and then you go downstairs to reach the bedrooms.
The huge living room is the focal point for sociable gatherings with floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors at the rear opening onto a balcony that stretches the width of the house. Step out, and you'll soak up the views over the swimming pool, garden, adjoining golf course and the lovely hills beyond. The dining table comfortably seats eight
A separate modern kitchen is well equipped for self catering holidays, with a fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher, plus an informal breakfast table that's handy if you want to catch up with your emails.
In the separate utility room there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and separate full sized fridge and freezer and a cloakroom/toilet completes this level.
Downstairs in this Exclusively Eastbourne holiday home is equally spacious and comfortable. A second sitting room is an ideal breakout room for the children, or if you can't agree what to watch on TV.
The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed, plus a whole wall length of fitted wardrobes - so no need to skimp on your packing.
The second and third bedrooms are also large in size - one with a super kingsize bed, the other a twin. The fourth, smaller bedroom is a twin for children's use only - so this property can sleep a maximum of six adults and two children.
There is a large family bathroom with a bath and separate walk in shower, plus a separate shower room.
Outside the garden is attractive and regularly maintained. The swimming pool is heated for use between mid June to mid September only. Parents need to be aware that as well as the pool (which is fenced in), there is a laburnum tree in the garden (plant/berries poisonous), so children must be supervised at all times.
WiFi is provided, along with towels and linen (please bring your own swimming / beach towels). There is driveway parking for up to two cars and further street parking available. Bookings are for a week long minimum, and run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although short stays and flexible arrival days may be possible last minute or out of season - please contact the Exclusively Eastbourne team for details.
Located in Eastbourne, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea.
