A short way down a narrow sandy lane lies Corkwood - a lovely, brightly renovated and spacious 4 bedroom detached house, just a few moments from the wonderful dunes and fantastic beach of Camber Sands.
On the ground floor the hallway leads to a large open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and generous sitting area with TV and Wifi. Wide sliding doors lead outside onto a lovely sunny area of decking and lawn with your own charcoal barbecue.
There is also a separate 'snug' with bean-bags, flatscreen TV and games, great for the younger ones!
A door off the kitchen leads to a fully fitted utility room, with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and coats cupboard. Through the back door which leads from this room is an outdoor heated shower, great for rinsing the kids off after a day on the beach!
Also on the ground floor are three large, double bedrooms, two with king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms and one with two singles and use of a further bathroom.
On the first floor is a fabulous master suite consisting of large bedroom, dressing room and en-suite bathroom.
From this bedroom, large doors lead onto a balcony, a perfect, quiet hideaway to sit and relax watching the sun setting.
A short drive in one direction will take you to the lovely, historic market town of Rye, which has a very diverse and interesting range of restaurants and shops. In the other direction lies Dungeness and its intriguing coastal habitat plus the Romney & Hythe miniature steam railway. In the middle of the famous 1066 area, Hastings and Eastbourne are also not far away.
Further afield but still easily reachable, there are so many attractive and interesting places to visit from a great Zoo at Port Lymne, castles at Dover and Bodiam to Bedgebury Forest and Pinetum and the Ashdown Forest...
