The Space:
Set in a peaceful & rural location, The Granary is located four miles outside St Andrews & is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Set on eight acres of shared grounds, our two bedroom accommodation is the perfect country escape. As our guest you have full use of The Granary. There is free parking outside the property.
The Granary retains a wealth of exposed timbers and stonework throughout, and boasts its own garden, with patio area, alongside 8 acres of shared grounds.
One double bedroom and one twin bedroom with living room, large kitchen and bathroom. The property also comes with a garden area (separate from The Granary) and private parking.
Private entrance with three steps leading to dining room with mahogany floor and farmhouse-style kitchen area. The kitchen diner has a large dining table that sits four to six people in case you want to entertain. The kitchen is well kitted out with everything you need for your stay - hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker.
The Living Room has a beautiful wood-burning stove and rugs on slate floor. There is a TV and CD player and a handful of DVDs and CDs for you to use. With very good natural lighting and high ceilings, the living room feels spacious and airy.
The bedrooms - one double and one twin, each have built in wardrobes. Both bedrooms benefit from a sink in the room.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and separate bath.
Neighbourhood:
Tucked away by the Kenly Burn in a quiet and picturesque location, this former granary stands only 1 mile from the sea and 2½ miles from a sandy beach. St. Andrews, with its famous golf courses, is only four miles away.

NEARBY SUPERMARKETS
Morrisons, Aldi and Marks and Spencer are located on the outskirts of St Andrews. As you approach St Andrews from Boarhills, take the first left on the second small roundabout to Lamond Drive. At the end of the road take a left. After a short drive, Marks and Spencer is on your right, Aldi on your left and Morrisons at the end of the road. A Tesco Metro and Sainsbury’s are located in the centre of town.
PETROL
The nearest petrol station is found in St Andrews. Morrisons (directions above) and a Shell Garage can be found in the centre of town.
RESTAURANTS & BARS
The nearest cafe is at Cambo Gardens (open daily) in Kingsbarns. The nearest restaurants and bars are in St Andrews. Please ask if you would like any recommendations.
BEACHES
Kingsbarns beach is worth a visit. Great for dog walks! The Cheesy Toast Shack is always good should you get hungry. West Sands is a great walking beach in St Andrews.
There is an hourly bus service into St Andrews. Please refer to the bus timetable for timings. The cost is approx. £3.50. Taxi’s to and from St Andrews cost between £15-20. The local taxi services are Golf City or St Andrews Taxis.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the house are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements.
Pre -Arrival:
When the booking is confirmed, you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure from 4pm. If early check in has been purchased check in will be from 3pm. Please note that access is not permitted to the property before this time, and we cannot store any luggage prior to check in.
Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the code prior to arrival.
During Your Stay:
We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay.

Located in St. Andrews, this vacation home is in a rural area. St. Andrews Preservation Trust Museum and Garden and British Golf Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Fife Coastal Path and St Andrews Bay. Cambo Estate Gardens and St. Andrews Aquarium are also worth visiting.
