The Vale, Brecon

Brecon Beacons. Sleeps up to 27

Vale Farm Cottages provides six lovely stone cottages in a beautiful rural setting, which we believe would be perfect for large groups wishing to holiday together or a good choice if you are planning a family gathering. The converted barns are just a ten minute drive from the market town of Brecon and feel a million miles away from the hurly burly of everyday life.
Set in stunning countryside with panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and surrounding farmland, a peaceful holiday is guaranteed at Vale Farm. Whether you choose to stay in the spacious three-bedroom Vale Oak or the cosy one-bedroom Vale Wild Cherry, you will find everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Vale Farm is perfect for families with every need catered for. The owners provide everything from cots and stair gates, toys, books, a play area and acres of space to run off all that energy!
The old and characterful stone buildings are located on a working farm with cows, sheep, hens, ducks, pigs and a donkey called Star. They are situated around a little courtyard near the owners' farmhouse.

There's ample car parking, BBQs for guest use, a shed for storing bikes, canoes and other outdoor equipment. What I love best is the fabulous indoor heated swimming pool. Pet friendly and no pet charges.

The Coppice - Meeting Room

There is a newly converted barn just across the court yard that now will seat everybody with catering facilities if needed for large family gatherings, special occasions, meetings or for a Conference.

A children's play area with swings and slides and masses of room for safe outdoor play.

We take the managing of the pool and hot tub seriously so therefore they are checked and tested three times a day and the pool and indoor hot tub are open from 8am -9pm for everyone to enjoy. We ask our guests to also follow the guidance set out by the above groups as shown listed on the swimming pool door and in both changing rooms, also there is a folder “Swimming pool Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plan” situated by the changing rooms for our guests to read if they have any worries. Any guest not following the rules will be reminded of the rules and asked to abide by them. Failure to do so will result in the guest being unable to use the pool/hot tub for the rest of their stay. In an unlikely event of water contamination, the pool/hot tub would be closed immediately to the guests and our “Emergency Action Plan” set out by the above groups would be carried out until a time when the pool or hot tub would be tested safe and reopened for use”.
