River Cabin, our cosy eco-cottage, is the perfect rural retreat in which to replenish yourself in nature. Nestled between 3 historic market towns on the banks of the picturesque River Wye, we're a stone's throw from the majestic Brecon Beacons & Black Mountains: an ideal base for exploring mid-Wales.
There are hiking & cycling routes from the doorstep, as well as wild swimming, kayaking & climbing spots nearby. For quiet days in you can sit by the garden's brook serenaded by cascading waterfalls & birdsong from neighbouring woods, laze in the sunny dining porch, or cosy up with a book by the fire.
We accommodate 2 guests comfortably, but also offer an extra sofa bed at an additional cost of £15pp/pn.
The stone cottage has 1 bedroom with a double bed, single sofa bed, a private shower room, sunny dining porch & fully equipped kitchen/living area. There is a gas-burning fire, games & books, & excellent wifi.
With extensive outdoor space, there is plenty of parking, sheltered bike storage & outdoor seating & options. We have a fire pit & BBQ as well as a special terrace overlooking the brook.
We are happy to welcome 1 well-behaved dog at a small additional cost.
