Alexanderstone Cottage is a very attractive detached stone built cottage with two spacious bedrooms within very easy reach of Brecon with gardens and a large field for children to play in. Footpaths lead from the cottage. For lovers of the outdoors, Alexanderstone is set within a designated protected wildlife area making this property is a wildlife enthusiast's dream.
This cottage can also be used in conjunction with Alexanderstone Manor, Alexanderstone East Wing and Alexanderstone Coach House (approximately 150 yards distance) thus sleeping 31 people - so with the four properties this is a wonderful relaxed location, close to Brecon for a family re-union or a meeting up with friends.

The kitchen has a four ring electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. Dining table and chairs.
A large utility room with a second sink, a freezer, a washing machine and a tumble dryer and ample room for coats and boots etc.
Downstairs cloakroom: With handbasin and toilet.
The cosy sitting room has a large woodburning stove set in a stone fireplace and sofa and chairs, with a sofa-bed to sleep 2 if required TV with DVD.
Up a flight of wooden stairs to a large landing.
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom with a double bed
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
The Bathroom: Has a bath, shower over, handbasin and toilet.

Numerous outdoor activities and places to visit - Located just 3 miles from Brecon, Alexanderstone Manor is excellently placed to offer a huge number of outdoor activities all based locally. Walk straight from the house onto the glorious Brecon Beacons. There is also fantastic cycling as the property is on the Taff Trail providing 55 miles of largely traffic-free roads, paths and canal towpaths. Pony trekking, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and more advanced riding can all be arranged locally. For those looking for a quieter stay there are numerous shops in Brecon as well as a cinema and some great pubs and restaurants. Even closer to home, the small hamlet of Groesfford has a small pub just 1.5 miles away.
Host a dinner party to remember - Why not play Lord of the Manor and host a dinner party during your stay, or invite guests to a cocktail party held in one of the spacious reception rooms in Alexanderstone Manor, sleeping 10, which has a homemade and Cordon Bleu ready cooked dinner service and a full waitress service can also be arranged. This facility makes Alexanderstone the obvious choice for a family get-together or a special occasion. Alexanderstone Manor's East Wing can also be booked through Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages and can sleep a further 8 guests if required.
