Cobblestone Cottage is a pretty, quaint and delightfully situated, warm and cosy cottage, well hidden from the village, in the friendly owner's garden, and only a short walk away from the centre of the very small market town of Talgarth. The front of this attractive 3* self-catering holiday cottage has a cobbled pathway thus the name of the cottage and was originally the dairy of Great Hall Farmhouse circa 1680. The cottage has thick stone walls, deep window recesses and the great oak lintel over the old inglenook fireplace. Less than two minutes' walk into Talgarth with local shops and a small supermarket and the newly restored Talgarth Mill where visitors can take a tour and perhaps buy some of the delicious bread that is milled and baked there and then enjoy a snack in its super new cafe.

Cottage accommodation - Sleeps 4 in two Bedrooms

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker and oven, a toaster, microwave, fridge with an ice box, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The spacious sitting room/dining room has a dining table and chairs set in front of the window looking out to the garden and a comfortable sofa and chair in front of the cosy woodburning stove. New flatscreen freeview TV and DVD. A door leads out to the patio behind the cottage with table and chairs.

Upstairs to two bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: A spacious double bedroom with a double bed - look out of the window across the village street to the small river running through .
Bedroom 2: A bedroom with twin beds with views out to an enormous Sweet Chestnut tree.

Family bathroom with a bath with a shower over, handbasin and toilet.
