This former toll house brimming with character sits on the banks of the river Usk and within 1 mile of Crickhowell s bustling high street. This vibrant village offers a good mix of shops to include a bakers and butchers where you can take advantage of the local produce along with restaurants and pubs. For walkers, you can leave the car behind with routes that will guide you into the park onto some of the peaks to include Table Mountain. There are activity centres that offer kayaking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding throughout the area. For the more easy going guests, there are some lovely market towns such as Hay on Wye (20 miles) known as the town of books, Abergavenny (6.5 miles) and Brecon (14.3 miles) Step away from the hustle and bustle of this vibrant market town and into the entrance hall. The reverse level accommodation offers a spacious entrance hall which is a great space for muddy boots and coats after a day exploring the hills. The ground floor offers guests the choice of two bedrooms, a super king size zip and link (that can be made into twin beds on request when booking) and a twin room, and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The staircase leads to an open plan living space, brimming with original features to include exposed beams and toll house windows offerings views across the river Usk, the old stone bridge and surrounding hillsides. A cosy corner sofa fronts a Smart TV and a wood burner. For dining take a seat around the large wooden table, the open plan kitchen finished stylishly complements the space offering everything you would need for preparing food. There is one allocated parking space available on arrival at the Vine Tree which is across the bridge.
