In Talgarth, 5 miles away, find a working mill and bakery with an excellent cafe which overlooks the river. The town is also home to an award winning butchers. Crickhowell, with its bustling high street running down to the idyllic River Usk, is 8 miles away and a great base for outdoor enthusiasts, with fantastic cycling and walking in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Cross the historic bridge to Llangattock and you'll find the Brecon and Monmouth Canal, with the recently restored towpath great for a relaxing amble. Tackle the heights of The Sugar Loaf, The Blorenge, Table Mountain or try a spot of fishing on the River Usk. Splashes of colour sit aside the muted and elegant interiors, with the contemporary styling complemented by the rustic and traditional touches such as the exposed stonework and wooden beams. The master has a solid oak king size bed and a door opening out onto the terrace, plus a twin room. The large bathroom has a spacious walk in shower. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a small lawned area and decking. Garden furniture and a BBQ ensures that outdoor dining is a must. There is a pub 2 miles away, and a shops and restaurants 5 miles away.
