Glowty is a stylish and comfortable two bedroomed self catering holiday cottage with two double bedrooms and with two shower rooms, all on the ground floor. The perfect place for two couples to stay especially if you do not like stairs.
This charming barn has plenty of character, exposed oak beams, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove with a good supply of logs. Large comfortable sofas and TV. Patio doors with wonderful views opening up to the garden.
Close to the centre of The Brecon Beacons National Park and within very easy reach of Brecon town, this is a great place to stay. Ample space for parking, storage of mountain bikes or canoes in the large courtyard and barns.
The remains of the Roman Y Gaer meaning The Fort is just down the valley, an easy walk and certainly worth exploring. You will be spoilt for choice with some of the excellent restaurants in the wider Brecon area and the many local pubs offering food.

Sleeps 4 - 2 Double bedrooms with two shower rooms.
Kitchen: There is a relaxing country style kitchen with every thing you need for an eay and pleasant stay; with an antique pine settle, dining table and chairs, a beautiful old Welsh dresser, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and a separate freezer. Washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The sitting room is light and spacious with a lovely oak floor with rugs, three large comfortable soft sofas - one of which can be used as a sofa bed. A woodburning stove with wood supplied. Large TV with Free Sat. Patio doors lead out to the garden.
There is a family bathroom: With a bath with a shower over, handbasin and toilet.
Bedroom 1 - Double bed with basically the private use of the family bathroom with a bath with a shower over, handbasin and toilet.
Bedroom 2 - Double bed and an en-suite shower room.
There is an enclosed garden with a lawn and a sunny south-facing patio area with a table, chairs and a BBQ.
There is safe storage for mountain bikes.

The cottage is set in the corner of a large courtyard of the owners house with glorious views over the rolling countryside, about 4 miles from Brecon, near The River Usk. The cottage is in the middle of spectacular countryside with excellent mountain walking and cycle trails. There is Trout and Salmon Fishing on The River Usk - contact Usk & Wye Foundation for fishing information and availability. There is a 4 acre field that belongs to the owner where visitors could bring their horses and there is also a Menage (on discussion with the owner).
