The family bathroom has a stunning roll top both, where you can enjoy an indulgent soak at the end of a busy day. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, as well as a decking area, where a picnic bench-style table and chairs offer an ideal spot for an alfresco meal, with two sun loungers to lay back on and soak up the sunshine, and a private hot tub providing another touch of luxury to your stay. Shepherd's Rest is in an enviable location, amidst acres of countryside, and you can enjoy lots of walking trails, with easy access to the Offa's Dyke trail. Llandyssil village centre is a short walk away, with a small selection of shops and a pub, with the town of Montgomery just over two miles away, with must-see attractions including its 12th century castle ruins, Town Hill County War Memorial, cricket club and selection of cafés, restaurants and shops, as well as a fantastic farmers market held every Thursday. The excellent 9-hole course of Lakeside Golf Course is just over a mile away, with a driving range, putting green and restaurant overlooking the golf course and the River Severn. The historic town of Bishop's Castle is within easy reach, with a fantastic nature reserve, the House on Crutches Museum, which makes for a fascinating day out, and many walking and cycling trails, including a steady climb up Cordon Hill, or alternatively take the scenic route through the Mid Wales countryside on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway. Venture towards Ludlow, host of one of the UK's best food festivals and a real foodie's delight, and why not explore the Shropshire Hills, with over 800 square kilometres of Welsh and English countryside to explore, extending from the Wrekin to Clun Forest and from Stiperstones across to the Clee Hills?
