This lovely detached barn conversion is set amongst the most beautiful Welsh countryside just above the village of Llangattock.

Trelawny Cottage is the ideal escape from busy modern life, yet is just a twenty minute walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants of Crickhowell.

There are fabulous walking and cycling routes right from the door and nature lovers will enjoy spotting the birds and mammals attracted by the River Usk and the Monmouth and Brecon Canal which are both nearby.

Trelawny Cottage has a lovely open-plan living and dining room with exposed beams, comfy furniture and a fantastic woodburning stove - perfect for cosy evenings curled up be the fire.

Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the room and also provide a great viewing platform for watching the rabbits and birds who visit the garden.

The kitchen is a good size and well equipped with all you need for creating delicious dinners and hearty breakfasts, which can, of course, be eaten on the delightful private terrace on sunny days.

There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a luxurious family bathroom complete with a jacuzzi bath - ideal for bubbling away in after long walks on the Beacons!

Trelawny Cottage is part of a small and attractive complex of holiday homes that were once the stables, barns and stores of Neuadd Farm. Some of the buildings date back to as early as the 1500s and all have a wealth of period character.

Guests have access to lockable storage for bikes, a shared laundry room with coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer and free Wifi. There is ample parking on the site and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

There are two electric car charging points at The Neuadd. One is a universal charging point for all electric cars and the other is a Tesla charging point.

These are available free of charge for guests and are situated in the car park
