Hay on Wye the literary town famed for its annual festival. Explore the Offa's Dyke pathway which runs along the border between England and Wales. A little further afield, the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains and the stunning Elan Valley are worth exploring whatever the time of year. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).
