"Aubreys" would have been part of a terrace of traditional farm workers cottages. It has now been converted to a comfortable and a surprisingly spacious four bedroomed cottage all with en-suite shower rooms. The cottage has some unique features such as "tractor seat" chairs in the conservatory and a classic tractor parked at the front of the cottage (usually just in the summer). Aubreys is a great place to stay close to the centre of the pretty village of Llangorse, near Brecon with views out towards The Brecon Beacons and Llangorse Lake in one direction and in the other up to the Black Mountains and Llangorse Mountain behind. The village has two pubs, The Red Lion and The Castle both serving food and another cafe down beside the lake. Visit the ancient Crannog beside Llangorse Lake for a picnic or hire a boat or pedallo and explore the lake or bring your fishing rods. Just up the lane is Llangorse Activity Centre offering ponytrekking and horseriding, a brilliant climbing wall, zip lines, abseiling and a high ropes "sky trek" course - all very exciting for children big and small.
