Baddegai is a glorious traditional Welsh stone Longhouse with a brilliant big Hot Tub, the cottage comfortably sleeping 8 visitors in 4 spacious bedrooms all with en-suite shower/bathrooms.
Baddegai is situated in a private and secluded location, just a short walk along The Drovers Road onto The National Trust Land and up to The Peaks of The Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. This superb house is only 10 minutes drive from Brecon. The property is situated in 3 acres of grounds including a lawned garden, a terrace and two fields which are perfect for exercising dogs. The south facing terrace has a BBQ and good quality garden furniture and is a wonderful sun trap with beautiful views up to the Brecon Beacons and has an abundance of birdlife. There is a shed in the garden which can be used for locking up mountain bikes. The garden and fields, with a brook running alongside, provide great fun for children (the brook is fenced off for the safety of young children). The house is on the edge of National Trust land that runs up to the top of the Beacons so you can walk from your own front door to the top of the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons, Pen-y-fan. This is a wonderful location for all types of visitors whether just relaxing with friends or keen walkers and mountain bikers.
The original cottage was completely refurbished with a superb kitchen and dining room. The attached barn has been tastefully converted to further extend the accommodation with original beamed ceilings, wonderful oak floors and ample comfortable furniture. From the kitchen and sitting room are the most beautiful views up the valley to a stream tumbling down from the mountains.
