The Old Mill is a superb detached, stone-built former 18th century mill, next to a working livestock farm, just outside of the small hamlet of Dolau and eight miles from Llandrindod Wells. It is set over three floors and sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. On the first floor there is a twin bedroom, whilst on the second floor there is a king-size double, a double and a 4 double. There is a shower room on the ground floor and a bathroom on the second floor. The ground floor also a utility room and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area, whilst on the first floor there is as a sitting room. Outside there is off road parking, an electric car charging point and a front covered terrace with a hot tub, furniture and a BBQ, as well as a front and side lawned garden. The Old Mill is a fabulous place to holiday in Wales, at any time of year.

Town: Dolau is a small hamlet in Powys, with a very pretty little railway station. Nearby, the town of Llandrindod Wells is centrally located in Mid Wales, and offers a variety of shops and pubs, as well as the pretty Lake Park and Temple Gardens, plus many hiking pathways in and around the town. The annual Victorian festival is held here in August when locals and businesses step back into the time of Victorian Llandrindod Wells - a spectacle not to be missed.

The Hall at Abbey-Cwm-Hir and Llanbister Methodist Church are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include The Spaceguard Centre and Gigrin Farm Red Kite Feeding Centre. Traveling with kids? Consider Hergest Croft Gardens and Royal Welsh Showground. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking, cycling, and rock climbing nearby.
