Summary:
This characterful studio apartment is situated on the top floor of a Georgian terrace on a quiet road in Clifton. Inside, original wooden floor boards contrast beautifully with calming light blue walls, whilst modern appliances and tasteful furniture give the space a contemporary scandi feel. The open-plan kitchen has ample space to cook up hearty meals: find a ceramic butler sink, 4-ring gas hob, an oven, kettle, coffee machine, washing machine and a fridge with water dispenser.
The Space:
The apartment sleeps up to 2 and has been kitted out with thoughtful touches to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There is an industrial-style unit with hooks, shelves and a rail so you can pack away your belongings, and on the comfortable double bed, you will find nice linen and pretty furnishings. There are also a handful of houseplants, as well as a few boardgames and books - all of which you are welcome to use. You'll also find a spacious breakfast bar with stools for dining, as well as a charming window seat and table by the restored sash window.
Next door, the bathroom is flooded with gorgeous natural light and the brand new shower unit has been maintained to a superb standard. The apartment also has a well-sized communal garden at the back, with pretty borders and a lawn that you are free to enjoy!
You're under 5-minutes walk from the heart of leafy Clifton, one of Bristol's prettiest neighbourhoods, where you will find a plethora of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as the iconic Suspension Bridge.
The apartment is situated in an elegant Georgian terrace house on a quiet leafy lane in Clifton. A great feature of the property is the communal garden, officially shared with the other residents, but rarely used. It provides a delightful sitting out space with mainly lawned areas stocked with flowering shrubs and plants.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the apartment and communal garden.
The Neighborhood:
This beautiful studio apartment is tucked away on a quiet street in Clifton. Bristol is well-known for being a Georgian city with pretty architecture, and Clifton village is one of the city's most desirable locations. Within five minutes you can walk to a plethora of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as handy convenience stores such as Waitrose and Sainsbury's.
Clifton village is famous for its iconic Suspension Bridge, which stands out dramatically against the striking Avon Gorge. Straight over the bridge is Ashton Court Estate, a beautiful park spanning over 850 acres. There are numerous walking and cycling trails, as well as a Rose Garden, Deer Park and Mansion.
Some of our favourite spots in Clifton village include The White Lion rooftop bar, as well as The Fringe Jazz Bar, The Albion Pub, Bosco Pizzeria, Chandos Deli and East Village Cafe. You're also in a great spot to explore further afield: including Whiteladies Road, Park Street and The Harbourside. Gloucester Road, Stokes Croft and Bedminster are also all within a 30-minute walk or 10-minute taxi - boasting micro-breweries and theatres as well as brilliant eateries and delis.
Getting Around:
There is ample parking on the road outside the apartment which is free outside of restriction ours, or we can provide permits for your stay for a charge of £5/day. Bristol is a city best explored by foot or bus, plus there are Voi scooters that you can easily pick up close by.
If you don't have a vehicle, the city has great train connections with regular, direct trains from London Paddington, Birmingham and Cornwall. The train station is a 15-minute taxi away or 30-minutes by bus. There is a bus stop at the end of the road, with routes all around the city and direct to the airport!
