A Cosy And Welcoming Cottage, Ideal For A Couple Wanting To Retreat Or Explore., Moreton-In-Marsh

Gloucestershire. Sleeps up to 3

Clematis Cottage is cosy and welcoming and ideal for a couple wanting to retreat or explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Built of Cotswold stone, with beamed ceilings, original flag stone floors, wooden floors and a wealth of traditional features.

The cottage is perfectly situated towards the edge of Blockley, yet only a few minutes’ walk to the village shop and café, and the two village pubs. There are many countryside walks to enjoy straight from the front door. The accommodation is set over three floors, accessed by traditionally curved and quite steeps stairways; and the cottage has a delightful, enclosed garden with a small patio area and a sheltered cabin. There is parking on the road next to the cottage or in the large car park opposite.

Blockley, lying only a few miles from Moreton-in Marsh and Chipping Campden, is a charming Cotswold village with twisting roads and secret passages to clusters of houses that lie higgledy piggledy throughout the village, which was once a silk manufacturing centre. Blockley is very much alive with a primary school, WI, horticultural society, church, bowling green, sports club and others adding to a vibrant social setting. The community run village shop is a hub and the café next door offers special dining events.
