With a view of a wooded valley, two lakes, and Cranham in the Cotswolds as its back drop, Lakeside Cottage in Cranham, Gloucestershire, is a memorable place to stay. As a result of its idyllic surroundings and convenient location, you'll want to come back again and again. Traditional oak-beamed interiors have been used by the owners to great effect, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is a large TV with FreeSat, a DVD player and CD player as well as a stone chimney breast that houses a wood-burning stove for your comfort in the lounge area of the property. At the front of the property, there is a separate kitchen with views of the private fishing lakes. A table with room for four people lets you savour the taste of freshly prepared meals. A halogen range, electric grill oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave are all included in the kitchen's amenities. If you prefer a more formal dining experience, there is a separate dining room with a large oak table, four chairs, and a Welsh dresser at the back of the property. There are two bedrooms at Lakeside, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. A shower and bath are available in each of the two en-suite bathrooms. There is a private decking area known as The Crow's Nest that is tucked into the hillside overlooking the own private valley and Painswick, which is accessible by a few steps down the hillside has expansive views across the countryside. Enjoy a glass of wine at the provided table and chairs while using your binoculars to observe the local wildlife, a wonderful, picturesque setting. Many Grade I and II-listed historic structures can be found in the area. In addition, there are charming towns dotted with quaint Cotswold cottages, many of which were constructed using the region's yellow limestone. The area is bursting at the seams with a plethora of things to do and see, so much so that you have to see and experience it for yourself! Getaways are made easy and memorable at Lakeside Cottage.
