Milliner's Barn is tucked away off a quiet country lane in the quaint village of Weston Subedge, 2 miles from Chipping Campden.
This is a single-story, L-shaped barn conversion in traditional Cotswold stone, offering a tranquil escape to the country for a family or two couples. With interiors that beautifully blend the traditional with the modern, this is a cottage with charm by the bucketful. Exposed beams, Cotswold stone walls, and vaulted ceilings greet you as you enter, and a small but well-formed farmhouse kitchen, with feature AGA, gives the barn a distinctly warm and English-country feel. On a sunny day, there's a lovely, sunny decked patio and walled lawn area, offering plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the gorgeous surroundings.
Sleeping up to four guests across two good-sized bedrooms, it's a great choice for two couples sharing. If your party is bigger than 4, the adjacent Field House Cottage (sleeps 6+2) can be booked together to accommodate your group.

Milliner's Barn is all on one level
Entrance Hall:
Milliner's Barn is entered from the cottage's gravel driveway (shared with its sister property, Field House Cottage) and accessed via a small suntrap seating area that's yours to enjoy. Stepping inside this single-story property, you'll get a real feel for the cottage's homely vibe thanks to its bright entrance hall, country cream hues and quarry tile flooring.
Kitchen:
The heart of the home, Milliner's Barn's beautiful kitchen offers guests the feeling of a real farmhouse escape. Exposed beams and traditional quarry-tile flooring give the space a traditional feel, whilst cream wooden units, bright tiled walls and all the mod-cons you should need bring it well and truly into the present day. A central dining table, seating up to four guests, offers the perfect spot for everything from relaxed breakfasts through to lively evening feasts. The real stunner of the space is the feature AGA; a modern take on the barn's farmhouse past, with a tiled backdrop of a traditional farm scene.

Living Room:
A wonderful space for everyone to enjoy, the vaulted and beamed ceilings, large exposed stone feature wall and a gas-fired, gas-fired woodburner effect fireplace carry on the traditional rustic feel of the home, brought into the modern day through bright fabrics, contemporary artwork and large, cosy sofas. In here, you'll find a TV and DVD player, plus French doors that open directly onto the barn's enclosed outdoor decking area.
Family Bathroom:
The main bathroom of the cottage sits between both bedrooms, accessed just off the bright entrance hall. In here you'll find a modern over-bath shower with square rain-shower head, basin and toilet, plus attractive black and white contemporary floor tiles.
Bedroom One:
Bedroom one is to the left of the entrance hall, featuring a sink-in 5ft double bed and handy en-suite single shower room. Overlooking the barn's private lawned garden area, this bedroom has exposed beams, cream walls and bright pops of colour giving it a homely, relaxed vibe.
Bedroom Two:
The larger bedroom of the house sits on the right-hand side of the entrance hall. A large space offering plenty of room to relax, guests will find a comfortable king-size bed, country-cream walls and attractive pine furniture, plus built-in wardrobes, a dressing table and large mirror. Light and bright, the bedroom overlooks a small private courtyard patio; the ideal spot for sundowners or a morning cuppa.
Outside
Milliner's Barn benefits from lots of private outdoor space for guests of all ages to enjoy. Alongside the small private suntrap patio, which sits aside its main entrance doorway, the rear of the property boasts a private, fenced decking area - complete with dining furniture and charcoal BBQ - and can be accessed from the living room. Leading on from patio is a pretty, walled lawn; completely private should you need, but also able to be shared with Field House Cottage if you're staying as a group. (Field House Cottage sleeps 6 adults + 2 children.) Sit back on the decking and relax with an al fresco feast or let the kids run wild on the lawn, safe in the knowledge that they're completely enclosed.
Located in Chipping Campden, this cottage is in a rural area. Silk Mill and Court Barn Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Broadway Golf Club and Cotswold Way. Traveling with kids?
