One of two super shepherds huts nestling in the beautiful Wye Valley. Less than three miles to the pretty market town of Usk, which offers a plethora of independent shops, eateries, inns and antique shops. This fantastic area offers an array of dramatic landscapes and nature trails, plenty of opportunities to sample the local produce and a visit to nearby Abergavenny is a must. There are many historic sites, castles, ancient monuments, museums and galleries to explore, including Tredegar House, Tintern Abbey and Chepstow Castle. Lots of activities such as kayaking, sailing, fishing, mountain biking, climbing all within an easy drive and spectacular walks straight from your door. Enter into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner/sleeping area. You will first notice that this quality property has been hand made, creating a more spacious environment, being both wider and taller than standard. The lounge area has two chairs where you can enjoy the heat from the warming wood burner or watch a film on the TV/DVD, which makes this a cosy retreat at any time of the year. The kitchen area has an electric oven and induction hob, fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bed is a double from where you can enjoy the lovely rural and wildlife views through the shuttered windows. There is ample storage space built in behind and below the bed. There is a fantastic shower room with a power shower and WC, adding a little bit more indulgence to your glamping experience. Outside is an additional outdoor kitchen with charcoal BBQ and bench seating for some al fresco dining, a hammock for lazy afternoons reading a good book and a fire pit for enjoyable, social evenings looking up at the stars before heading inside to the wood burner. Honesty shop selling locally sourced meats, snacks and other items. Bike storage is available and there is ample off road parking for two cars and a pathway leading to the property.
