Llandudno is a Victorian seaside gem which is busting with a superb range of amenities, ranging from quaint cafés, lively pubs, superb restaurants, shops and supermarkets, so you won’t have to go far to get what you need. Whilst here, soak up the sun at one of the two beaches, travel up the Great Orme by the Great Orme Tramway or catch a show at Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage. Just a short drive away is the historical market town of Conwy, which is dominated by its medieval castle and enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. For those feeling active, the nearby Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park offers a plethora of walks, including to the summit of the highest mountain in England and Wales or if you are visiting with young children, then a day out to the Welsh Mountain Zoo is a must.
