This stunning and spacious detached cottage is situated very close to the centre of Llanberis in a riverside location. With light and airy rooms, this cottage provides ideal accommodation for a family group looking to discover all that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer. The entrance hall has high ceilings and is a fantastic way to introduce you to this contemporary home. Leading through to the kitchen you will find a range oven, twin sinks and a central island giving you plenty of space to prepare meals. In this room is a dining area with room for the whole group to sit together. From here, step through the glass doors to the sitting area which has a living-flame fire to keep any chills at bay and also sliding doors out to the balcony so that in warmer weather you can bring the outdoors in. Why not take a drink out to the balcony and enjoy the sun while listening to the neighbouring babbling stream? Head up the stairs to the first floor and there is a cosy seating area on the landing where you can enjoy a bit of time to yourself. There are two bedrooms here, a twin and a king-size double which both enjoy views out to the mountains. The further bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor and include a king-size double with an en-suite shower room, a double and a final twin room. For rainy days there is a superb games room with full-size table football, DVD and CD which is sure to keep everybody entertained. Doors from the utility room will take you out to the lawned garden which has a decked patio area with furniture. This space is fantastic for relaxing in the evenings with an alfresco meal with the added tranquillity of the sounds of the stream flowing by. Llanberis is set at the foot of Snowdon and this mountain must be explored during your stay. You can take the train up to the peak where stunning views of the surrounding area will take your breath away. There are a number of interesting and unusual attractions very close by including the Electric Mountain, National Slate Museum and Caernarfon Castle is also within easy reach. With such a wide array of activities, there is sure to be something for everyone from walkers, mountain bikers, climbers or even watersports enthusiasts.
