This exceptional, detached house, Ty Ffynnon, rests in the centre of Abersoch. Boasting a rustic charm, thanks to its original features of exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace, whilst being within easy reach of Abersoch’s beaches, this is an appealing home-from-home for a large group or family of ten. After parking in one of the three spaces outside, make your way inside the abode to come across a spacious sitting room that is home to abundant seating surrounding a toasty woodburning stove and TV, where you can watch your favourite DVD or settle down with one of the books from the selection available. The kitchen/diner hosts an array of fantastic appliances for the budding chef of the group to cook up a storm with, including a Belfast sink, dishwasher and impressive AGA range that is nestled within the fireplace. Dinner can be savoured at the nearby table, or in the sunny conservatory, where you can look out over the garden whilst you dine; the conservatory also features window seats, where you can socialise with your group after dinner, with a glass of wine in-hand. When night falls, you can find one of the four bedrooms on the ground floor, this one being a double room enjoying cream décor, an en-suite shower room, where you can additionally find Miele laundry facilities. Continue upstairs, where three more well-presented bedrooms lie, the first one being a king-size benefiting from pretty accents, a sofa and an en-suite bathroom, another being a king-size with access to a private balcony, along with a family room adorning floral décor and consisting of a king-size, bunk bed and adjoined by an en-suite shower room. Completing the first floor is the bathroom, where you can relax your muscles amongst the bubbles before wrapping yourself up in a warm towel from the heated rail. The garden is the ultimate entertaining space, where you can enjoy a homemade pizza night with the Jamie Oliver wood-fired oven and enjoy it at the outdoor dining area; the patio opens out to a large lawn where you can relax on the benches whilst your canine companions stretch their legs. A highlight of the property is its position on the village’s high street, offering a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops at your feet, as well as ample sailing and surfing opportunities along the village’s shores. For a quaint outing, travel a short distance west to Llanengan, where you can hike through the Hillfort, where the remains of the Llanengan Lead Mines can be found, savour a pint at The Sun Inn, and venture down to the western coast to Hells Mouth Beach or the Llŷn Coastal Path. Progress along the coast to Aberdaron, stopping at the National Trust property of Plas yn Rhiw and Porth Ysgo on the way; upon reaching Aberdaron, be sure to spend time on its stunning beach and enjoy a hearty meal at The Ship Hotel. There is so much more to discover within the local area, from Llanbedrog and Pwllheli to the headlands of Cilan and Mynydd Mawr. For a fun-filled break in this beautiful part of Wales, choose Ty Ffynnon.
