This property sits beautifully on the edge of Newborough Forest and Beach, a 6000-acre protected National Nature Reserve, of which the beach is said to be one of the most beautiful in the UK. The main beach and LLanddwyn Island can be accessed on foot through the reserve, via a public footpath across the field behind the house and Malltreath beach is an even shorter walk away, no need to even cross a road! There is a large car park directly on the main beach, for families who not wish to walk! The Wales Coast Path is also accessed on foot, and the Lon Las bike track is within walking distance from the house. The rear of the property overlooks the mostly untouched Bodorgan Estate, one of the only three houses that can be seen from the back of the house, was previously home to a famous Royal couple, considered to be their son Prince George’s first home. If you’re lucky you might see them visiting with the family! The vista from the huge bifold doors overlooks the woodland and Malltreath Estuary. Dinas, and resident Osprey, can be seen in summer frequently from the breakfast table, along with plenty of other interesting wildlife. If red squirrels are your thing, these can be spotted too, one of the few places in the UK to come and see them. For bid-lovers, there are various RSBP managed areas in Anglesey, with Malltreath, Cors Ddyga and South Stack. You’ve guessed it, Anglesey is one of the top UK locations for birdwatching. All manner of watersports can be enjoyed in our crystal-clear water’s moments away from the house, with Newborough and Rhosneigr being two of the best for windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing foiling, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, rib rides, the list is endless! All the kit can be hired in Rhosneigr too, watch out for Seals and Dolphins. The Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park can be reached by a scenic car journey, which boasts many amazing things including the highest peak in England and Wales and many attractions such as the fastest zip wire in Europe, and a perfect wave to surf 365 days of the year! In my opinion, there is nowhere else on the planet where you can be deep in such beautiful mountains in the morning, and on a lovely beach in the afternoon! For your amenities, there is a corner shop, friendly pub, and a fish and chip shop all located in the village, within a short walking distance. There are many other great quality places to eat out nearby with Rhosneigr down the road and why not overlook the amazing Menai Straights whilst dining in Menai Bridge? For a wonderful getaway, choose Bryn Aber.
