Sleeping two people, this apartment lies in the delightful coastal town of Criccieth with its pretty shops and cafes. A shrt stroll takes you to the medieval castle that separates the town’s two lovely beaches, which benefit from a sheltered position and waters warmed by the Gulf Stream. Thsi is a popular location with walkers at high tide, due to the fabulous views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia’s mountains. It’s an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of the Llyn Peninsula (14 miles) and the Snowdonia National Park (9 miles), and you’ll be spoilt for choice with the range of things to see and do nearby. The enchanting Italianate village of Portmeirion lies just 8 miles away, whilst history buffs will want to head to Caernarfon Castle (17 miles). Further beach-based fun awaits 5 miles away at Porthmadog.
A former stable block, this has now been lovingly converted into a number of one-bedroom apartments. Enter the apartment up a flight of external stairs and find yourself in the open-plan living space which comes complete with a kitchenette, dining table, sofa – which can transform to a bed if required and a Smart TV. The space is decorated in warm neutral tones and the layout allows for easy conversation with whoever is cooking. There are also some fantastic views of the castle from the window. At bedtime, you’ll find an inviting king-size bedroom with TV if you fancy a late film or a lazy lie-in. There’s also a handy en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC.
While there is no outdoor space at this property, you are just a mile from the beach and the views from the second-floor apartment are stunning.
Breakfast included in your stay.
