Enjoy walks and romantic evening strolls on the beach. Horse riding is available nearby; ride through quiet country lanes enjoying the beautiful scenery from the saddle. The cottage is ideally situated close to the Maritime Museum and within walking distance from Nefyn Beach and the coastal footpath. Haddef is also the perfect location for golfers, Morfa Nefyn, situated 2 miles away, boasts two of the finest 18 hole golf championship links courses in Wales. You will find several golf courses in the area at Pwllheli and Porthmadog and not forgetting Royal St David’s Harlech, home of the Welsh Amateur Championship. The Nanhoron Arms Hotel is a short walk away if you don’t fancy cooking and the famous Ty Coch Inn, down on the beach at Porthdinllaen is nearby, in fact the whole of the Llyn Peninsula is just waiting to be explored. Plas yn Rhiw (NT) has beautiful ornamental gardens and is worth a visit and Porthmadog, home to the famous Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and the famous Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion are about a twenty mile drive away. The towns of Abersoch and Pwllheli are close by, plus within driving distance is the stunning Snowdonia National Park, with all its attractions, and the wonderful Isle of Anglesey is a little further afield and is definitely worth a trip over.
