One Bed Accommodation With Countryside Views, Near Snowdonia National Park, Caernarfon

Snowdonia. Sleeps up to 2

We offer a one-bedroom property, in a detached building, which accommodates two separate holiday homes. The accommodation is conveniently located between the stunning mountain scenery of Snowdon and the blue flag beach at Dinas Dinlle. 8 miles from the historic town of Caernarfon, with its castle and approximately one mile from Snowdonia National Park. The house has a modern open plan living/dining/kitchen room, with a TV. The bedroom has a cosy/cottage ambiance with a wardrobe, night stand and dressing table/stool. We have off road parking in front of the holiday home on the left hand side.

We are half a mile from the Wales Slate World Heritage Site. There are various paths marked around the Dorothea Quarry. The deepest part of the quarry is 106m, which is below the water table. A Cornish beam engine was installed in 1904 to pump the water out of the quarry, this remains in situ in its Grade 1 listed engine house.

A great location for walkers, cyclists, climbers, water activities and steam train enthusiasts. There is a cycle path nearby which goes from Felinheli to Bryncir. The mountain path up Snowdon from Rhyd Ddu is only 8 miles away, in addition to breath-taking views along the Nantlle Ridge walk. Rhyd Ddu is a station on the narrow gauge Welsh Highland Railway, which was built in 1881. There is stunning scenery from the steam train with destinations from Caernarfon to Porthmadog.

Located in Caernarfon, this vacation home is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Eryri National Park and Yr Wyddfa. Redline Indoor Karting and Glasfryn Parc are also worth visiting. Motor boating offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
