Head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information after having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House towards Menai Bridge leads to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column, where you can climb the 115 steps to the summit for spectacular views of the countryside and shoreline for a nominal price. On the shores of the Menai Straits, near St Mary's Church, Nelson's Monument is easily accessible.
