The Gatehouse is a ground floor apartment adjoining the main property 'Castle House' in the Village of Penysarn. The property has a large 250 ft garden which is currently a work in Progress as we only moved here ourselves a few months ago. The apartment has two bedrooms - a double and twin with a kitchen and brand new modern bathroom.
The tranquil beach of Llaneilian is only a mile and a half away down a country lane and makes for a beautiful walk. This then takes you to the stunning coastal path of Anglesey if you so wish.
Penysarn also nestles in the shadow of the Parys Mountain which was once the home of the largest copper mine in the world and is now a Heritage Centre.
We have a regular bus service which stops around the corner from the property every half hour and will take you everywhere on the Island or even North Wales if you so wish.
The nearest Town is Amlwch, about 3 minutes drive away, which used to be a thriving fishing and merchant Port. Fishing trips can be arranged if required.
Located in Llaneilian, this apartment is in a rural area and near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The Dingle Nature Reserve, while Amlwch Copper Kingdom and Stone Science are cultural highlights. Motor boating and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
