Everything is within walking distance of all the town's facilities, including shops, pubs, restaurants and the famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Steam Railways. The superb beach at Black Rock Sands is easily reached, or you can enjoy a lovely coastal walk to the pretty village of Borth-y-Gest, enjoy the stunning landscape on the way and reward yourself with a cream tea at the owner’s tea room. The Italian village and gardens of Portmeirion are only a 5 minute drive away and well worth a visit, and the coastal towns of Harlech and Criccieth, with their medieval Castles are both reached within 20 minutes.
