The cottage is situated in a quiet part of the bustling town of Tywyn, and makes a great base for exploring the Dysynni Valley and the Cader Idris mountains (12 miles). The Dysynni Broad (0.5 miles) is a popular spot for fishing, or you can take a stroll along the promenade and spend an afternoon on Tywyn Beach (1 mile). The town centre has a great choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is home to both the Magic Lantern Cinema and the end of the Talyllyn steam railway line. Perfect for a range of activities including mountaineering and surfing, the pretty village of Aberdyfi is also nearby and is a fantastic centre for golf and water sports (4 miles). Entering this delightful property the main entrance hall leads through to the fresh and relaxing open plan lounge/diner. Featuring original slate flagstone flooring, the lounge is a lovely space to settle back and unwind in at the end of a fantastic day, complete with a wood burner effect gas fire set on a slate hearth, TV, DVD, music centre and plenty of seating. The pine open tread staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor where you will find the three spacious, cosy and tastefully decorated bedrooms. There s a double room and a twin room to the front of the cottage, plus a charming single to the back, all with plenty of storage space. The twin room also benefits from an en suite shower room with a shower and WC. The family bathroom is also on this floor, with a freestanding roll top bath and WC. Wooden double glazed doors open from the lounge and out to the back yard with patio furniture where you can enjoy a morning coffee as you plan the day s events. Roadside parking is available for two cars.
