The cottage is situated in a quiet part of the bustling town of Tywyn, and makes a great base for exploring the Dysynni Valley and the Cader Idris mountains (12 miles). The Dysynni Broad (0.5 miles) is a popular spot for fishing, or you can take a stroll along the promenade and spend an afternoon on Tywyn Beach (1 mile). The town centre has a great choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is home to both the Magic Lantern Cinema and the end of the Talyllyn steam railway line. Perfect for a range of activities including mountaineering and surfing, the pretty village of Aberdyfi is also nearby and is a fantastic centre for golf and water sports (4 miles). Entering this delightful property the main entrance hall leads through to the fresh and relaxing open plan lounge/diner. Featuring original slate flagstone flooring, the lounge is a lovely space to settle back and unwind in at the end of a fantastic day, complete with a wood burner effect gas fire set on a slate hearth, TV, DVD, music centre and plenty of seating. There s a double room and a twin room to the front of the cottage, plus a charming single to the back, all with plenty of storage space. The twin room also benefits from an en suite shower room with a shower and WC. The family bathroom is also on this floor, with a freestanding roll top bath and WC. Wooden double glazed doors open from the lounge and out to the back yard with patio furniture where you can enjoy a morning coffee as you plan the day s events. Roadside parking is available for two cars.
